It starts with content or idea production: the thoughts
One must be different with distinctive, remarkable, visionary, controversial,
problem solving, ground breaking ideas, processes or arguments.
Being a subject matter expert is nice. Really nice. And there are plenty of
experts. But for thought leadership it is not enough anymore to really
understand your business and the needs of your customers.
A thought leader must be a passionate advocate for his or her topic.
He or she must also provide additional meaning, relevance and engagement to
his stakeholders. Because these people are trapped in that enormous gigantic
information overload in books, blogs, videos, guides and other newsletters.
