How to prepare for the biggest event for freelancers

The Freelance Business Month is almost here, starting on 1 October, and we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the most out of this opportunity. This article will cover the most important aspects of the event, such as the structure, the event platform and how to connect with others. Let's begin!

Freelance Business Month is a month-long event, dedicated to uniting the freelance ecosystem of independent workers, contractors, service providers, recruiters, and anyone interested in the opportunities this segment of workers has to offer. It aims to raise the voice of the freelance community while teaching, inspiring and connecting independent professionals from all around the globe.

The event will take place between 1 and 31 October 2021 and will offer plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded freelancers and expand your network, while learning from top industry experts. Last year's event saw speakers who have worked with companies like Google, Microsoft, Forbes and NASA. This year promises to match the calibre of experts you can connect with and learn from (see the event programme here). You just need to make sure you are registered!

The event is divided into five parts, each one featuring talks dedicated to a specific topic.

You need to simply go to the event page and click on Registration. From there, just choose your tickets. For individual freelancers, we offer a limited quantity of free tickets, so be quick and grab one so you don't risk losing out. When the free tickets run out, you will be able to buy one for €35. As soon as you register, you will get an email with your ticket. Now you only have to wait for the event to start!

The event will run on a digital platform, where apart from hosting the talks, it allows you to create and customise your profile, connect social accounts and introduce yourself to the other event attendees by using the internal chat system and find relevant connections via a powerful AI engine. The event page will also feature a list of the presentations and workshops and the option to register for the ones you're interested in.
